Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and establishing safety barriers
- Load/unload materials, operate machinery (forklifts, excavators), and transport supplies
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and concrete pouring tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications for project execution
- Perform equipment maintenance checks and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
