Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and ground leveling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support skilled trades with material handling and task assistance
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Complete basic construction tasks (e.g., debris removal, formwork setup)
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites within San Jose
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- No experience necessary – training provided
