Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and forklifts (certification provided)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with trade-specific duties
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for project accuracy
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily site inspections
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction or trade experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
