Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with precision and safety
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades professionals
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality control measures
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with blueprint reading and material estimation
