Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure proper storage on-site
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and physical tasks as required by project plans
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site supervisors
- Operate hand/power tools and basic machinery safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
