Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Safely operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and installation processes
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to ensure site security and compliance
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Must possess reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as project demands
- Experience with trenching, scaffolding, and fall protection systems preferred
