Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Perform general site duties including digging, loading, unloading, and hauling materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools such as forklifts, jackhammers, and power washers (training provided).
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans under supervision.
- Handle physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety guidelines strictly.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with crew members.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus.
- Experience with concrete pouring, framing, or demolition is a bonus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
