Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA).
- Transport materials from delivery trucks to work areas using dollies or carts.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by site supervisors to ensure project accuracy.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory for entry-level labor roles.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
