Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely
- Read blueprints and follow construction specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and scaffolding
- Collaborate with tradespeople on multi-crew projects
- Report safety hazards and maintain compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
