Responsibilities
- Assist in loading/unloading construction materials and equipment
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project lifecycle
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors and foremen
- Support skilled tradespersons with physical tasks and material handling
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments (various weather conditions)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic understanding of verbal/written instructions
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
