Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, and light equipment
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license (Class C)
