Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Perform general cleanup and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Measure, cut, and shape stone, wood, and other materials as directed.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
