Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, dirt, and other obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Tool Operation: Assist in the operation of power tools and construction equipment under supervision.
- Concrete & Framing: Mix concrete, pour slabs, and assist with framing and sheathing tasks as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by sweeping, shoveling, and disposing of waste.
- General Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, etc.) on various projects.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols precisely.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
