Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment under supervision when certified.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing work.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
