Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and basic painting.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Preparation: Perform site preparation tasks such as digging, clearing debris, and leveling ground.
- Communication: Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
