Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize them at the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, to assist with various building tasks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations and material transport.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain safety standards.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and supervisor instructions.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including digging, leveling, and concrete finishing.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
