Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradespersons with concrete work, framing, and site prep
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment from vehicles
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Experience operating heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) a plus
