Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read basic blueprints and construction instructions
- Operate light machinery (forklifts, concrete mixers) after training
- Transport materials to designated locations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check
- OSHA 10 certification a plus
