Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (bobcats, forklifts, etc.) with proper certification
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation and structural assembly
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid O-10 or OSHA 30 certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible overtime schedule
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
