Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, clean, and prepare construction sites according to OSHA safety regulations and project plans.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools under supervision to assist carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Waste Management: Remove debris, trash, and scrap materials from work areas to maintain a clean and organized site.
- Assistance: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Measurement & Marking: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and installation.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality, hard work, and dedication to safety.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate.
