Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Machinery Operation: Operate power tools and heavy machinery under supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Framing & Finishing: Support framing, drywall installation, and basic finishing tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with foremen and team members to coordinate tasks and report progress.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on feet.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to safety details.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driving record are often required for site access.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
