Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling following safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with task execution
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery with proper certification
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic tool operation knowledge (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
