Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground to meet project specifications.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist Trades: Provide necessary labor and support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate power tools and machinery such as saws, drills, and compressors under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site at all times in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Measurement & Marking: Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to specific blueprints and layouts.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and push heavy objects for extended periods; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and pay close attention to safety details.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
