Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters/masons with material staging and basic construction tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow site supervisor instructions precisely
- Transport materials via equipment or manual labor as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- Reliable transportation and punctual weekend availability
- Strong teamwork communication skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
