Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery under supervisor guidance
- Perform concrete pouring, framing, and demolition tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for accurate execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional trades teams to meet deadlines
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards immediately
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool maintenance skills
- Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays) required
- Pass background check and drug screening
