Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and job-site regulations
- Assist skilled trades with layout measurements and equipment setup
- Maintain organized work areas and proper tool sanitation
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and daily progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
