Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing with precision
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment checks
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen to meet project deadlines
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and task prioritization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-4PM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
