Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation and excavation tasks following engineering blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with OSHA-certified proficiency
- Install/assemble structural components including concrete forms and steel frameworks
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain OSHA-compliant work zones
- Coordinate material logistics and inventory management at job sites
- Perform finish work including concrete finishing, framing, and drywall installation
- Document project progress through daily logs and quality control reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency with power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Texas State Journeyman Laborer certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements
- Reliable transportation to multiple Fort Worth work sites
