Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials (concrete, lumber, tools) using proper lifting techniques
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like pouring concrete, framing, and demolition
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shift
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
