Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and dispose of waste responsibly
- Follow precise blueprints and supervisor instructions for accurate task execution
- Perform site security checks and safety hazard mitigation
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and occasional overtime
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
