Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure project specifications are met
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians) on complex tasks
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Portland metro
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Weekend availability mandatory (6 AM - 4 PM Sat/Sun)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
