Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform minor demolition and debris removal operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional trades teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant vocational training
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts required)
