Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, excavation, and foundation work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work zone
- Perform site cleanup, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret basic blueprints to execute assigned tasks accurately
- Collaborate with crew members to ensure project milestones are met
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
