Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and installation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific procedures
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in daily safety toolbox meetings and site cleanup
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Tampa metro
- Strong work ethic with punctual weekend availability
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Driver's license required with clean driving record
