Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving tasks using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, equipment operation, and structural assembly
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise project execution
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment safely
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and waste management procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
