Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with precision and safety compliance
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and basic installations
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and sustained physical labor in all weather conditions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience or trade school training
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication skills
- Flexibility to work 8-hour weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
