Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal under supervision
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout, framing, concrete work, and finishing operations
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or related labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
