Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material staging and support work
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Complete daily progress reports and quality control checks
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid O-10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Tampa Bay
