Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision and efficiency
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, and demolition tasks
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid O-10 construction certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability on weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory management
- Must possess reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new construction techniques
