Responsibilities
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support skilled tradespersons with layout, measurement, and installation tasks
- Participate in daily briefings and progress reporting
- Complete equipment maintenance checks and minor repairs
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Basic understanding of safety practices (training available)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work weekends consistently (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-sponsored)
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
