Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including material handling, cleanup, and debris removal
- Operate basic construction tools under supervision (shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.)
- Support skilled trades with material transport and equipment setup
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Participate in scaffold assembly, trench digging, and foundation work as needed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project timelines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-sponsored)
