Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing under site supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Assist in material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with skilled trades professionals (carpenters, electricians, etc.)
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate time logs
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Relliable transportation to job sites within Nashville metro area
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
