Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and stock them properly.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Assist in site preparation and demolition tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines strictly.
