Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials (bricks, lumber, concrete) at job sites efficiently.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (forklifts, skid steers) under direct supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, framers) with daily tasks and setup.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris, covering trenches, and adhering to site protocols.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA standards strictly.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, tamping, and carrying supplies.
Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods on hard surfaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the site.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but on-the-job training is available for motivated candidates.
