Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Machinery Support: Operate basic heavy machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, saws).
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople by performing tasks such as mixing concrete, carrying lumber, or assisting with framing.
- Reporting: Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
