Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to various work areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of certified operators.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus but not mandatory.
