Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris, snow, or obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled workers, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various building tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and light machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Measurement: Assist with basic measurements and site layout as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Tools: Basic set of hand tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
