Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, drills) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain job site safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Perform physical tasks: digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Report hazards to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No construction experience required—comprehensive training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic with weekend availability (Sat/Sun)
- Basic math skills for measuring materials
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Must provide own basic work boots
