Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Maintain organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform basic concrete work, demolition, and framing support tasks
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or similar experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
