Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Perform basic measurements and material counting.
- Ensure the work area is kept organized and clean.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Physically demanding work requiring lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA preferred).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
